Electrical Compliance inspections for Solar Energy Systems are completed by Qualified Electricians who ensure that all regulations are met, keeping your property electrically safe.
Purchasing this package includes for an Electrician to visit your Solar Installation and issue a Certificate of Compliance if the installation is within compliance.
What is an electrical certificate of compliance?
This CoC is a document the verifies that the Solar Installation meets all regulations required by the South African National Standards.
This document is necessary for insurance purposes and when selling your property.
Requirements
No Electrician may issue a CoC unless the whole property has a valid certificate. Doing so may invalidate your insurance and is unlawful.
The CoC is a one page legal document. The remaining information you receive from your electrical contracting company is what is known as a ‘test report’ and can include wiring diagrams and photos. The test report is designed to be a concise record of the work done as well as the inspection and tests on your property that ensure it is safe, compliant and within standards.
